Live podcast events can be a great way to connect with your audience on an intimate level, create marketing content and find new listeners. But to pull off a successful event requires a unique blend of creativity and logistics and it can be easy to overlook the details that make for a sell-out show.

EP & live event producer Jazmine Henley-Brown will walk you through what you need to know. Drawing on her experience as founder of the Milwaukee Podcast Festival featuring headliners Charlamagne Tha God & comedian Andrew Schulz Jazmine will discuss how to transform your podcast into a live show concept, how to choose just the right venue and how to understand the logistical and budget concerns that come when an audience appears in person.

Course content will include:

Securing Sponsorships.

  • Marketing and Promotion
  • Pricing and Ticket Sales: Understand the dynamics of pricing your event and managing ticket sales. Gain insights into setting ticket prices that reflect the value of your show and the market in which you’ll hold your event.
  • Audience Engagement: Learn how to captivate your audience live, encourage participation in real time and create memorable moments.
  • Wrap Documents: I’ll show how to provide wrap numbers to any sponsors or investors, including the number of tickets sold, any social media engagement, and highlights from the audience.

Whether you’re a novice seeking to make your live debut or a seasoned podcaster looking to enhance your live performance experience, this workshop is for you.

*This class is capped at 12.
