How to turn your personal story into a podcast

Have a personal story you want to tell, but not sure where to start – or where to finish? This course is a step-by-step guide to help you bring your story to life in audio.
Journalist and producer Golda Arthur will cover foundational questions you need to know to make it happen: what exactly is your story? How can you make it compelling to anyone besides your mom? Who is your audience anyway? And – where do you even start?
Over the course of this three session workshop Golda will help you create a show concept, a production schedule, and a timeline for launch. You’ll share your work, get feedback and have the chance to refine it. You’ll walk away with a ‘minisode’ – a short pilot episode that will be your first concrete step to making a fully-fledged podcast.
- Class is capped at 12 and will meet for three Wednesday sessions at 12pm EST: May 21st, May 28th, June 4th.
- Registration comes with a free, three-month license for Hindenburg audio editing software
