Have a great idea for a podcast? Trying to find funding and distribution? Bodies host and executive producer Allison Behringer walks you through the materials that you need for a pitch: a deck and a budget. You’ll learn what to include in your pitch deck and how to succinctly communicate what your show is about. You’ll also learn tools and techniques for planning your budget.

In this interactive class, you’ll have a chance to workshop your pitch, receive feedback from Allison and your peers, and figure out what next steps you should take.

Who's this class for?

• This class is for you if you already have an idea for a podcast and want to create or refine the materials needed to pitch your show.
• You're interested in getting into podcasting and want to learn how the pitching process works.

Note: Attendees will need a podcast concept to work with for some exercises. If you haven't yet developed an idea, please bring a mock/pretend show idea to work with.
