How I turned my podcast into a book with Cara McGoogan
As host of the British investigative podcast Bed of Lies journalist Cara McGoogan usually works in sound. But her first book, Blood Farm, comes off the presses this month. And it’s based on the second season of her show. So how did she do it? If you’re working from audio to print, do you need to go beyond the interviews you’ve already collected? Interview more or differently? And given how different the writing process is for print and audio, do you need to completely revise and tell a different story? Join Sally Herships, founder of Radio Bootcamp and Director of the Audio Program at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism for this free Q & A with audio journalist and author Cara McGoogan.
