If a perfect podcast drops without a marketing plan, does it make a sound? You and your team could spend untold hours producing a great podcast but if you're not smart about your marketing odds are, nobody will hear it.

Podcast marketing guru Lauren Passell will cover the fundamentals you need to grow: finding audience matches and partnerships, setting up promo swaps and feed drops as well as strategies for the holy grail – getting featured in apps like Apple and Stitcher. You’ll also learn how to pitch yourself to newsletters, how to make your content more marketable – or your marketing more editorial and finally, what not to do on social media.

Lauren Passell

Lauren Passell is the founder of Tink Media a podcast PR and marketing company (clients have included Jody Avirgan, Bridget Todd and PEOPLE magazine) and runs two podcast newsletters, Podcast the Newsletter and Podcast Marketing Magic. She is a curator for Hark Audio, a platform that makes podcast mixtapes.


Lauren gave incredible, specific, and highly actionable suggestions about podcast marketing. This was the single most helpful podcast workshop I've been in in at least a couple of years. I esp appreciated Lauren taking time to talk w each participant and give a tiny bit of tailored feedback.
