Listening to good sound design can feel as baffling as it can compelling. How’d they do that?? Join sound designer David Herman as he discusses his work on Slate’s Peabody Award-winning podcast series “When We All Get to Heaven” and “Holy Week,” from The Atlantic. He’ll talk us through the first episode from each series — Setting The Table, and Part I: Rupture. There will be plenty of time for questions.
David Herman is the owner of Good Studio, and a sound designer, mix engineer, and composer. He began his career in radio and podcasts at WNYC, and has since contributed to shows for NPR, The New York Times, Gimlet Media, Stitcher, and The Atlantic, where he created the sound design behind the Peabody Award-winning podcast series Floodlines.
