These days, it seems like everyone and their mother hosts a chat show. While making one may seem simple, creating one that will grab people’s attention (in an ever-growing podcast industry) can often be tremendously challenging. In this two-part workshop, award-winning showrunner, producer, and consultant John Asante will teach you how to develop and pitch your podcast idea, create a structure and format, form sustainable production methods, and produce a show that will keep your listeners coming back for more.

  • Class meets for two Wednesday sessions at 6pm EST: July 12th & July 19th.
  • During the second session students will have the opportunity to pitch their idea during a group critique.
  • This class is capped at 12.

Who's this class for?

Beginners and enthusiasts who want to learn the finer points of how to create a high-level, DIY chat show.
