One-on-One with
Benjamin Frisch
Does your podcast need a musical tune-up? If you’re having trouble making the music flow or having trouble figuring out how to pace that one musical transition, I can help make your music pop! At Radio Boot Camp, I teach workshops on using music library tracks as part of your sound design for documentary, chat, and interview shows, and I’m excited to offer one-on-ones as well, pulled from a decade of experience producing and sound designing shows for Slate, Audible, NPR, and more.
Whether it’s talking through whatever musical issues you have, taking a peek at your session, or discussing your musical approach with an ear towards making your podcast sing. We can:
- Brainstorm your musical approach
- Talk about music libraries
- Pick music library tracks
- Identify musical transitions
- Figure out where to put your music
- Implement your tunes
- Work on your musical mix
And whatever else you’re interested in!
If you’re interested in learning the basics of using music from the ground up, I’m also offering a personalized crash course version of my workshop, focused on techniques for using music as narrative punctuation, designed to break down the meat and potatoes and get you confident in implementing music library tracks into your mixes with intention.
